Cratloe Wood is a purpose-built private development designed to accommodate students in a friendly village style environment. Providing accommodation for over 600 students, the village is just 500 metres from LIT - Limerick Institute of Technology. The village has mostly 3 bedroom apartments with 1 ensuite room and 2 single rooms.

Money will be withheld from your refund if:

  • €45 - for non return of Key/FOB
  • €60 - bed linen removed from the property
  • Room and apartment must be left as you found it otherwise cleaning and damage charges will be withheld 
  • It may be necessary to contact your bank before paying your booking deposit of €300 to inform them you will be making a payment to another country.

    Punchs was a really great place to live, especially as a first year trying to settle into college life. The communal setup was ideal for making friends and getting to know lots of people in a similar situation to yourself which made the transition to moving away from home a lot easier. At the same time, we still had the privacy of our own spacious rooms to retreat to when we needed a few hours of peace to study or relax. The location is perfect both in relation to college and facilities such as a shop, butcher, the city and the crescent shopping centre

    As a first year student, I couldn't have asked for better student accommodation. With college just a five minute walk away and shops, restaurants literally a stone's throw away, the location is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and maintained to a high standard, as are kitchen and dining room facilities. The fact that such a large number of people from a broad spectrum of courses live here allowed me to get to know so many new people, making adjusting to college life a lot easier! Would whole heartedly recommend to others!

    Punchs Residence is an absolutely great place for any student to seek accommodation. It has everything one needs to live a very enjoyable, social, interactive student life. My room has a comfortable bed, effective shower, surplus room for storage, a desk for studying, and the heating system makes for a nice toasty setting. Apart from this you are provided with a common room which facilitates your own locker for storage(plates, cups etc), a pool table, a TV room with full access to Sky, all making for a fantastic set-up. The kitchen is very good, there is everything you need - fridge space, several ovens and hobs, cupboard space for more storage, toasters, microwaves, access to boiling water whenever one may wish for some, and tea towels for the dreaded wash up. There is a great atmosphere between everyone staying at Punchs, the inclusive set-up feeds everyone in to getting to know each other very quickly which makes for a good laugh. I have to also mention that since I have arrived Trish, the lady who manages the site, is absolutely fantastic. No matter what I have asked for since I have arrived I have been granted my wish extremely quickly. She ensures we have everything we need, and has the who accommodation gleaming everyday for us with the hard work she puts in. Always having a smile on her face Trish would make anyone feel at home and welcome. If I was a first year considering accommodation I would get onto Punchs immediately, you won't get better!

    Coming up to Limerick not knowing anyone in my course, punchs could not have been a better choice for me. I got to know so many different people from a variety of courses and am confident that I have made life long friends in some of them. The facilities in punchs couldn't be of a better standard and neither could the rooms. The location is ideal for students as it is at most a 10 minute walk from college and a 15 minute walk to the crescent shopping centre and Limerick City while also being less than a 5 minute walk to Lidl. The atmosphere and idea is great for all first year students as it provides the opportunity to make new friends. With friendly staff and security, I would most certainly recommend punchs to any and all incoming first years.
